New Chief Executive Officer for State information technology agency
The State Information Technology Agency (SITA) welcomed Ms. Nontobeko Ntsinde, as the Acting Chief Executive Officer to lead the organisation from the 01 July 2010. On behalf of the SITA Board, Ms. Zodwa Manase: Chairperson of the SITA Board today announced its pleasure in having Ms. Ntsinde lead the executive team as the new Acting Chief Executive Officer for the organisation.
chairperson of Open Source Software standing committe appointed
Nthabiseng Mosupye, Chief Director: Information Services, Department of Public Works has been appointed chairperson of the Open Source Software (OSS) Standing Committee in the Government Information Technology Officers Council (GITOC). Mosupye replaces Alsam Rafee, who joined the GITOC OSS workgroup in 2002.
